Tickets are now available for the 19th Annual Great Pumpkin Beer Festival (GPBF) presented by The Vera Project. This pumpkin-packed event will take place at the Seattle Center on Friday, September 29th, and Saturday, September 30th, featuring an impressive selection of 80+ pumpkin and seasonal beers from local breweries, including 20+ offerings from Elysian Brewing.

Please note that this event is 21+.

A highlight of the beer festival is the preparation of a several-hundred-pound pumpkin. It will be scooped, scorched, filled with pumpkin beer, sealed, conditioned, and finally tapped at the festival, allowing everyone to enjoy this delightful creation.

In addition to indulging in the best pumpkin brews, guests can also savor offerings from local food trucks, enjoy music, and participate in the costume contest. The Seattle Center will undoubtedly be awash with a sea of orange, as all are encouraged to embrace the pumpkin theme.

A week before the main event, on September 23rd, the Pumpkin Weigh-Off, which has become synonymous with GPBF, will be held at the Elysian Brewing’s taproom in Georgetown from 12-4 pm.

The weigh-off is free and open to all ages, and will feature some of the finest and most colossal pumpkins grown by local farmers. The pumpkin that takes the top spot will be granted the honor of being filled with pumpkin beer and served at the festival.

100% of the proceeds from the festival will directly benefit The Vera Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing an all-ages space that fosters personal and community transformation through collaborative engagement in music and art. By attending GPBF, you’ll enjoy a fantastic celebration and contribute to a meaningful cause.

Location: Fisher Pavilion on the Seattle Center Campus (305 Harrison Street, Seattle)

Date and Time: Friday and Saturday, September 29-30. 4-10 pm

Tickets: Ticket pricing is $30 per person for a one-day pass, $50 for both days, and includes a commemorative snifter glass and six drink tickets. Additional drink tickets will be sold at the festival for $2 each.

Buy tickets here.

Designated driver tickets are available for $5 (no snifter or beer tickets provided; there will be non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase).

As always, drink responsibly. Have a designated driver or take a cab or ride service when tasting.
